Claus has the overall responsibility for the association's activities and handles the day-to-day management of the association and its employees. Claus represents the association vis-à-vis public authorities and he is the association's representative in international forums. In addition, Claus is responsible for organizing board meetings and coordinating activities between members of the association and the outside world, including the wholesalers association. Furthermore, Claus organises the associations work on the certification of Christmas trees and greenery.
